With a new co-host and guest sitting in on the show everyday, there have been many to pass through the studios of Get This. Here is a list of Co-Hosts and Guests, organised by date, compiled, in part, by Steve Plunkett. The Co-Hosts and Guests for 2006 can be found here, and related trivia here. Links to the stellar work of this talented*** mob can be found here. In 2007 Get This expanded to a 2 hour show, initially between 11am and 1pm, then from 2pm to 4pm.

*** Yes, 'talent' is a subjective concept, but at least Lehmo plugged the petition!

January 2007

  • Monday, January 29, 2007: No guest co-host
    Our first show back. No co-host, but a stonking new segment called 'Let's Go Upskirting with Richard Marsland'.

    Tony's first-ever impression on stage was of this man, back in 1983.

    Yes, Greg really is heading off to rehab. He's our very own Lindsay Lohan, although his breasts are real.

    'Eagle & Evans', the show that 'almost went to air' is still available on DVD. We like the 'mini squash' sketch, unlike the hideous trollop who ran the ABC at the time. Mind you, she thought 'Corridors of Power' was a good idea.

This month has been deemed "Capril" (aka Cape April), a month where all listeners should wear capes in public, conducting day to day activities. The tagline for this month is: "Are you capable?"

    How spoiled are we for good guests during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival? None of us had heard of Andy, but he's bloody brilliant. And he makes a great carbonara. That's in real life, not during his show, 'Andy Zaltzman Detonates 60 Minutes of Unbridled Evening'.

    Has his own radio show on the UK, where he and his co-host regularly leave massive pauses to try and trigger the station's 'emergency tape'. We'd never do that at Triple-M, as ours is rumoured to be 'The Ketchup Song'. Keep talking, Ed!

  • Thursday, April 26, 2007: Stuart MacGill
    Has found the hidden porno frame in Disney's 'The Rescuers'. Those ex-cricketers have a lot of spare time on their hands.
  • Friday, April 27, 2007: Cal Wilson (as Ed Kavalee was away) and Tom Gleisner
    The last day of 'Capril'. Cal came in modelling her 'Cape of Good Hope', while Tom simply opted for full nudity. As usual.
The show was on holiday for the week April 30 to May 4.
